Tightening torque measurement

The tightening torque of bolts is measured with a suitable torque wrench. This control is applied in all cases where the permanence of an initial coactive state (e.g., bolt tightening torque imposed by the design or manufacturer), specifically in elements for which a loss of performance may increase their vulnerability to external actions, such as in the case of load-bearing metal structures (steel bridges, lattice towers, …) or motorway non-structural manufacts (guardrails, sound-absorbing barriers, PMVs, …).
