Floor extrados survey
The inspection involves the removal of the flooring and all the layers constituting the non-structural finish (tiles, linoleum, wooden strips, bedding screed, …), until reaching the load-bearing structure, which can correspond to the concrete slab or the extrados of the brick-concrete floors, to the upper planking in the case of wooden floors, etc. The inspection includes the survey with graphic restitution of the stratigraphy of the non-structural examined layers and the survey (position, number, diameter) of any reinforcing bars present on the extrados of reinforced concrete elements. To obtain the complete stratigraphy of the floor in its entire thickness, the inspection must be associated with an endoscopic inspection.
