Decay pattern mapping
The decay pattern mapping aimed at determining the state of deterioration and physical-mechanical alteration of the materials. Based on the existing architectural geometric survey, the degradation mapping activity involves the graphic representation in plan and elevation of the main defects and pathologies of a physical and chemical nature, which describe a structurally altered state or may lead to a decrease in the mechanical capabilities of the structural organism over time. Any state of alteration that could lead to a deterioration in the resistance characteristics of the structure is described.
